Where was this sort of performance from Slyce when he played for us?
He had a huge game against hawks toward the end of 2015 (we lost a close one with jarrad roughead getting a goal of a missed out of bounds). Hurt his knee and the game and wasn't back until 2016.

His problem has always been durability. Port would want to make sure they manage his minutes or they'll run him into the ground.

Coming into his prime......was always going to be a quality hard player.

Given that the number of Fremantle players is finite, does this mean that there are infinitely many cards with Hayden Ballantyne's picture on them?

Ah but there are an infinite number of recruiting strategies possible for Fremantle. Remember, this is the complex answer. In one universe, the dominant life form is dolphins and Frewillymantle are unveiling their prized recruit, Jetty Hofin.

Yes, they still suck in that universe.

Slyce was up against a spud in Phillips.

He also presumably spent far more time on ball than he used to for us, hence more opportunity to stay involved.

Surely Cox doesn’t get off? That new footage clearly shows he went off the line of the ball, chose to bump, and got him high. It was pretty soft but by the letter of the law, he has to cop the week? Fyfe lost a Brownlow for less (at least the ball was close to the man he bumped)

Barely any force and no concussion according to medical report. I reckon he should get off. Free kick would have been appropriate at the time.

I think the biggest factor is the tigers injury report saying he had concussion. It'll be interesting to see if the Richmond player plays this week considering he was so hurt by tgat little bump.

Edit: I just rewatched "the verdict" and Christianson said the high contact was backed up by the medical report. He wasn't concussed as I thought.
