As much as I have an intense dislike for Essendon, my sense of karma would be well satisfied if a team coached by Simon Goodwin were to enter next week with a 0-3 record.

Remember when Adelaide fans were happy when Sam Docherty went out for the season bevause they thought it assured them of Pick 1?

Since then:

Doedee out for the season
Seedsman most likely out for the season
Mackay out for awhile
Gibbs looks exactly like the front running squib we all know he is
Walker is playing to prove he shouldn’t have to share the captaincy
Laird is looking at Smith as though he’s a strange cat who is going to cost him his AA nomination
Jacobs is missing games already and there is no one decent to cover him
No “camp” on which to deflect blame onto (which was the biggest load of bullshit ever and had nothing to do with how poor Adelaide went last year)

Their players are just too ******* slow. They’ll have a resurgence in the back half of the year but it will be too late.
Did Mackay get injured last night??

What & when?

Melbourne greats Garry Lyon and David Schwarz have reacted with dismay to the Herald Sun’s bombshell report about their club’s tanking saga.
Leaked documents featuring interviews conducted between AFL investigators and Melbourne staff, coaches, players and officials in 2012 have been uncovered by the newspaper and include eight figures reportedly admitting the football department had been directed not to win more than four games.
Players — who were not seriously injured — were also reportedly kept off the ground to limit interchange rotations, while the report also referred to “fake injuries” which ruled certain players out of selection.

Geez .. What is the AFL going to do now ... Hide ... :D
And to think how bad we were for much of that time actively fighting against our licence holder to give us enough of the gate takings we generated to not have coaches via Skype. We didn't get a priority pick or an AFL subsidised coach to try and turn things around
Should have cheated to get ahead.
Only upside is that priority pick went on Scully who got out as fast as he could

I’m sick of these tweets. Any supporter from any game could have a bad experience.
Yep - I'm sure that every opposition supporter who has ever visited the Cattery will testify to the fact that all Geelong fans are absolute angels.........

They give you the shit k-mart N64 controller when you are at their place, and then get really angry when you beat them and turn the game off.

I've been there as well. :videogame:

They probably use Oddjob as well the campaigners.

Lol the one with the blown joystick that’s endured 1000 hours of Mario Party.

OK OK missed that

But eerily familiar storyline

There was a similar story from a Melbourne supporter at one of our games.

Some middle-aged, Victorian women seem to love getting all Helen Lovejoy at the footy.

Seedsman cleared of an ACL

Crows Science and Medical Services Coordinator Steve Saunders provided the following update on Paul Seedsman who suffered a knee injury in the final quarter of last night’s loss to Geelong.

"We were obviously concerned for Paul given the nature of the injury," Saunders said.

"Follow-up examination post game was more encouraging than initial assessments and imaging undertaken today has proved good news for him.

"He has not injured his ACL. Paul sustained significant injury to capsular and bone structures that required MRI to understand these better. We will know more as to time frames for Paul as we assess his clinical progress over the next 5-7 days."

The thing I’ve enjoyed most this year about Walker is the way he’s been so single minded in finding confidence and form that he’s regularly putting himself above team by burning teammates in better positions and going for that long bomb captains goal, or the big speccy mark to give him a lift.

Last night he completely burnt another crowbot, after they gathered possession Walker had a choice to run forward looking for a joe the goose or lay a shepherd on a Geelong player nearby.

The crowbot ended up having their disposal smothered a few seconds later. I'll let you fill in this the blanks.
