Firstly, starting Ryder in the ruck was a mistake IMO.
Secondly, our players are back to their bad habit of staying too far off their opponent to defend the short passing.

Other random observations:
1. One team moves the ball methodically to a spacious forward line. The other mongrel kicks to congestion waiting for one of its two rookies to heroically save it.

2. Our senior players are back to their shitty habit of fumbling, falling over, handballing over teammates heads and kicking blindly. R Gray the worst offender by a mile, with Motlop close behind.

3. J Westhoff is having a shocker. Two weeks in a row with 0.0 effort. Plays from behind like a scaredy-cat and applies no defensive pressure.

4. Our bad defenders (Howard, Bonner, Jonas) undo the work of our strongest ones (Houston, Burton, Clurey).

Howard has had a couple of shocking moments, but he's also attempted to mark a couple rather than just thinking 'punch'.
I feel he'll start to work into the game (hopefully).
