They include Martin missing a game in the whole sob story too. The campaigner missed a game because he’s a thug not because Richmond were unlucky.

I had a glance at Richmond's draw and they get a double up against Carlton! How on earth does the minor premier get a double up against the wooden spoon winner? I thought the way they group the ladder for double ups meant that couldn't happen.

Clearly the AFL trying to shoehorn them into a finals spot for commercial reasons. I suspect they'll finish top 4 only to disappoint again.

We get double up against the dockers . Pretty close to the same thing

I can't believe how bad Petracca is considering the hype surrounding him a few years back. He's just another Melbourne player that's been over rated. The media wanted to gas up a team for a narrative, so the label of "superstar" or "elite" was thrown around with wild abandon. Melbourne's list is grossly overrated, as are it's coaching staff. Had the easiest draw last year and beat ONE team in the 8 for the entire season and still made a prelim. Actual flat track bullies, but not a peep on that front....surprise surprise

Petracca, Harms, Both Mcdonalds, Viney and Jones have all been average players at best. Max Gawn is a super ruckman, but can't seem to kick to save his life, Clayton Oliver is a an inside bull, but rarely gets back into D50. No one to kick goals and seemingly no dedicated FF, making last year look like an anomaly rather than the norm

Tom McDonald was a good defender for a long time but only a good forward for a year (to be fair he used to get swung forward effectively at times in 2016-17 as well).

Oscar needs May back there but he’s been a flop due to his body/brain fade so far.

Coaches seem to be the problem. They’re constantly playing guys like Fritsch/Hunt/Melksham as stay at home full forwards and the mids are bombing it long to them, which just gets easily picked off

This is the thing that everyone is forgetting. The media jerk before the prelim was ridiculous. Trying to make them look like some superteam. They beat us when we had some key outs during the season and then got found out in the final. The media need to not go over the top with everything Vic related and then they wouldn't have to be so surprised when things dont go as planned.
