What is potentially positive news, what does he mean by "believes that he has had scans" , what does significantly avoided surgery mean and he doesn't know the time frames yet?

Reckon the twit-message was missing a pronoun and a comma. Should read "I believe he has had scans, and significantly, avoided the need for surgery." I might be reading what I want to read.

I’m going to guess the opposite. Scans were negative and they’re getting a second opinion. He’ll miss only 1 week!?

This is complete speculation on my part based on nothing more that the lack of any medical treatment after the game (no ice, no crutches, no resting the knee)

i feel like if it was bad news it would come out quicker, if its significantly less bad than originally thought youd go fo rthe second opinion to make sure you didnt miss anything

Bloke at work did his pcl. No crutches. Walking fine and yet to have reco. Wouldnt know he was injured. Not playing devils advocate just saying
