Reporting swans are offering 8 years and us and saints maybe around 7 years

Our longest contracts atm are Merrett and Wright who are stuck with us until 2027. A 7 year contract would take him to the end of 2030.

I think the longest contract we've ever done previously was Merrett's 6 years, prior to that Heppell, Hurley had 5 year contracts and idk who else. So we know it's not really Dodoro's thing.

Did Melbourne do stupidly long contracts when Mahoney was there? Or did Vozzo see it done at West Coast?

Also a contract of that length would surely have to be rubber stamped by the board.

Do not want him at overs if the Swans want to give him 8 good luck to them. Think he is a good player and we could use him as he has ability forward as well but personally I would be thinking more 4 years if it is $700k. In reality he should be getting $500k.

Do not want him at overs if the Swans want to give him 8 good luck to them. Think he is a good player and we could use him as he has ability forward as well but personally I would be thinking more 4 years if it is $700k. In reality he should be getting $500k.

He would be a perfect partner for draper. Not sure about 7 years though, though it depends on the yearly wage

Scoop is having a very weird/bad week. I was going to put The Age Real Footy podcast from Monday in the Delusional Pearlers thread because he made several comments that were coo coo bananas. Then he backed it up with more weird comments on Footy Class (Hutchy cut him off and told him to stop talking at one point). Something is NQR with him at the moment
