Hello Eagles fans!

The embedded resources below are kept up to date by the trade board mods (as much as possible – we are human after all). Enjoy!

Keys you may like to sticky this post & move it to the start of the thread (so the sticky post doesn't rotate if a post is deleted before it), or copy it to your draft thread if you have one.

We better hope Reid isn't a bust. Will set the rebuild back a few years if he is. I also fully expect people who are deadset against giving away Reid will turn around & criticise the club if thats the case.

No doubt there will be a few.

But I only criticise the club if they blow first rounders by trading down for a specific player, and that player hasn't played since U10s because of injury, and then we watch said player start his career wrecked by injury. Or if they draft Jarrod Brander.

I won't criticise the club if the unanimous Pick 1 who has dominated every level he's played (including VFL) ends up being a bust, because literally every other club would have made the same call.

We played mugby back in Kalgoorlie on the oval that was 50/50 couch grass and double-gees. No pristine ovals like the pussy metro boys played on.

After recess and lunch we'd be picking out the double-gee splinters from our heads after the pile-ons. Kalg was a bit rough back in the 80's.
Boulder Primary we played footy on Red dirt

AFL HQ will be pretty pissed there was no trades during the last 3 weeks.
Even excluding all the P1 talk to not even have late or 2nd rounders change hands is embarrassing.

Not really, still generated plenty of news articles and interest, which is all they care about by leaving the window open.

If the period was closed, there'd be next to no news whatsoever.

I am wondering if there's a slight contradiction.
Many people are happy to take Collard because he's obviously very high talented. Could be a jet, but questions about consistency and a flight risk (for interstate sides)
Essentially the risk of being [PLAYERCARD]Jarrod Cameron[/PLAYERCARD] II as has been slated on here.

Yet Ashton Moir is in the same boat and most people don't want him when he could be taken signifcantly later.

Why? Is it just a matter of Collard's upside being, in your views, far higher, or is it the lack of any progress from Moir this year the concern?

Not as pissed as those muppets who had to record an episode of ‘Gettable’ each day.

Most of our draft busts have been when we’ve gone outside the consensus and drafted someone in the first round who’s ranked in the 20s in other phantom drafts. The first round should just be played safe and then go for creativity in later rounds.

Haha, the old stay near a toilet tastes like sweat drink.
Fun times.

The sweat tasting one was great compared to the latest.:sickv1:

Imagine drinking sea water flavoured with 30% sugar and mango syrup.

I can live with burning pick 58 on Moir but if we used pick 23 or traded up I’d be pissed given who else is going to be available or worse yet give up more draft capital.

It's seems their at opposite ends of the trajectory. Moir was highly rated coming into the year and hasn't lived up to it. Has slid rapidly
Collard had climbed the rankings quickly in the last couple of months.
FWIW I heard that Cameron's demise started when he got a gf. Footy became a very distant second priority not sure what his professionalism was before that, I'm assuming it was ok as he was getting a few games

In my head Moir at 38 if ZZ is gone, however if we get Collard then Moir is redundant and we take a project tall / more midfield bulk

Argh yes, not surprised by that as it claims another one.

Might explain it, thought he was quite decent and looking a steal for the draft pick we paid and that maybe he was never the same after his long term injury.

It does show that a great attitude with less talent often beats poor attitude with more talent - often.

I’ve had relayed to me some first hand accounts of Cameron’s behaviour with said girlfriend

They weren’t complimentary or in line with what you’d expect from an AFL listed player

And blaming the girl would be unfair from what I understand
