Good point. Well argued. We are the greatest team in the history of sport. Ever. Period.
No Voss was clearly best on ground, Darcy was pretty average - I thought that the Pies exploited Darcy's lack of pace when he was in the ruck contests around the ground, ran off him at everey chance, same as Grundy in the Swans game.I guess Darcy was BOG for you lol![]()
So your preference is to have Jackson ruck & Voss as back up?No Voss was clearly best on ground, Darcy was pretty average - I thought that the Pies exploited Darcy's lack of pace when he was in the ruck contests around the ground, ran off him at everey chance, same as Grundy in the Swans game.

Okay...so how was Banners 'awful' then. Don't think his direct oppo pantsed him.No Voss was clearly best on ground, Darcy was pretty average - I thought that the Pies exploited Darcy's lack of pace when he was in the ruck contests around the ground, ran off him at everey chance, same as Grundy in the Swans game.
It’s probably like being blessed by the popeAs long as Treacy keeps doing that Ryan will keep kissing him and I'm OK with that.
Banners was repeatedly beaten by his opponentents and was well off the contests at both ground level and in marking contests in the first three quarters.Okay...so how was Banners 'awful' then. Don't think his direct oppo pantsed him.
Had a couple of defensive spoils and marks. Handballs out on the last line of defence
That risky kick to set up play was at a pivotal point in the game which led to Jackson's goal that put us in the lead
Not necessarily BOG. Good contributor but far from awful
JOM kicked a big goal in the 4th and Banners made a few errors sure, but did some good things too.Won us the game did it?? I recall a couple of other kicks that might have been more important...
JOM and Banners were awful.
One kick doesn't cover for JOM's performance across the whole game.JOM kicked a big goal in the 4th and Banners made a few errors sure, but did some good things too.
The only thing more important than the matching winning goal play was our match winning point.Won us the game did it?? I recall a couple of other kicks that might have been more important...

WHE was far from dominant lol he had one mark from a kick which went over the top of who it was intended for and did well to capitalise from by kicking a goal but far from dominant or sighted thereafterBanners was repeatedly beaten by his opponentents and was well off the contests at both ground level and in marking contests in the first three quarters.
Not Banners fault, in that he doesn't select himself, and he isn't a backman. He shouldn't be playing down back, especially against an experienced side like the Pies.
Taking Worner off immediately further exposed us, Hoskin Elliott was able to come in to the forward zone and really dominate for pace and opportunistic attack on the ball. Take either MJ, JOM or Banfield off (and move banfield up the ground) and play Worner on Hoskins-Eliott and that is a better outcome.
This is sad, one kick and you can total redeem yourself if it wins us the game. One kick doesn't cover for JOM's performance across the whole game.
Just beaten again and again and again.
It certainly is. Because it keeps alive a top 4 chance.Yeah thats gotta be up there as one of the clubs most important h&a wins
And him going after Maynard in a cheeky bump. **** I wanted to do that myself.Jackson’s last quarter was immense.
That smother on the wing was a thing of beauty.
So much character in this side now.
He’s a quiet achiever. Love his work. Reminds me of Dawson. Just do your drop and defend your opponent.I know McDonald has him limitations, but jeez, I hope he's getting game day bonuses for games played because he's done his role, for months now, and the others trust him in our system
Onya Macca
Agree with him tbh.JL in the press afterwards said they would have brought youngy on earlier but couldn't decide who to sub! I find that pretty wild!
He’s a quiet achiever. Love his work. Reminds me of Dawson. Just do your drop and defend your opponent.
He got Chol dropped this week, and looked after Mihocek.
I actually don't think Omac was as bad as some are saying and thought even his two FAs that lead to goals were very iffy. He’s a quiet achiever. Love his work. Reminds me of Dawson. Just do your drop and defend your opponent.
He got Chol dropped this week, and looked after Mihocek.
Tonga Bob can you please give this guy a ban? He clearly doesn't know s*** about footy. If we could get a new coach with a different game plan we can accelerate things. We have way too much talent to be outside the 8.
I really wanted JL to succeed but I’m off that band wagon now. Clearly, it’s not working.
