Is this a remake of the 2005 clash jumper? It probably would look better if the roo was up higher. Looks really blank in the top half. Also, why are north so against wearing blue? Every year they make an away/clash that is the same colour more or less as the home jumper, just a different design. They only really clash with Geelong, and every time they play in Geelong they put out the plain blue jumper with the white roo in the middle. If they made the away jumper mostly blue, they could still wear it against other teams, plus they wouldn't need to wear a training jumper against the cats. Would love to see them do the 03/04 away design, or just come up with something original and stop copying what the club did in the past (and that goes for all clubs... cough cough St Kilda).

Love to hear this - the AFL has relatively very clean kits compared to other sports around the world. Something no doubt they want to try and reign in for the next TV rights deal.

Eh, IMO they just wanna clear the space to try for names on guernseys again. It won’t stay clean for long. I would prefer sponsors in all honesty.

Homer style LS jumper. They’ve done this in the past where they had the white with blue vee clash jumper, which inexplicably had blue stripes on the back. Who is advising these designers…

When i comes to the kookaburra collar i think you'll find that freos jumps look like that in graphics too but the cut is a little different IRL.

i imagine freo and North will be on the same template as freo has been rocking for the last 5 years just with different logos slapped on

It’s the Punter / North / Kooka link. They’ve been playing it up on socials. Also Kookaburra are manufacturing footys now with their own leather and are trying to mount a challenge to Sherrin and Burley. They are already being used in all the junior Rookie Me academies so they’re just trying to get the brand out there.
