Looking at Stokes bowling now, you need to ask the question. Why didn't Stokes bowl yesterday? It seems bizarre now seeing him bowl quicker than I've seen him bowl before.
100% agree.
Ashes were on the line yesterday.

The fact he didn't even have a crack at bowling is baffling.

Yeah he went off for a few overs after bumping his head, but that was already deep into our innings when it happened.

If he wasn't bowling today I could accept it, but the fact he's out there bowling quick and over after over today makes no sense.

"he was tired from batting" is an absolute pathetic excuse

To be fair, stokes had to do a lot of lifting. He has essentially been the only reliable English player this series.He was probably drained from the batting in the first innings.

Exactly, seen plenty of bowlers come off the short run over the years when needed.
