The legal system and judges are ****ed. You can only hope karma gets them and their families so they understand real loss.

Harsh sentence? Your definition of harsh is different to mine. Fair sentence maybe that’s at best but it’s on the soft side and that’s for a lot of reasons primarily age but also to limit his chances if appealed. It takes out his ability to appeal on sentence reasons the punishment already is on the soft end of “acceptable”. He appeals he runs the risk of a not so forgiving judge as the facts are not in question

I’m still not getting why someone being a fan of a football player maybes them less able to discuss this case. One is a sport we love and the other well he’s a criminal. Sure Bailey might not be a Rhodes Scholar (name a footy player that is) but does it matter? Wouldn’t be the first supporter to like Bailey the footy player.
