Carr could say anything in the media right now, and compared to Hinkley all Port fans are gonna be positive about it.

The best thing about Carr is - that like Hardwick and Leigh Matthews - you know there is some tough guy mongrel in them from their footy days. You don’t lose this being a head coach.

When any Port supporter imagines Carr as a player you see 1. him fighting Jonathon Brown in the Gf. 2. kicking the first goal of the 2004 GF. 3. Premiership medallion around his neck.

That is some good association right there.

Does anybody actually remember any other Josh Carr moments… ?

One of his first games in the #25 doing an absolute Job on what was a rampaging Micheal Voss.

Later in the career Jarred Brennan absolutely losing his mind and Headbutting him.

Well . Carry’s done well before Christmas so he’s ticked that box . Intriguing how he’ll go . He still comes across as slightly bland , the other coaches should help there because Dewy is a charismatic character and Reeves is a feel good coach , it does seem like a well balanced group.
Good luck to him anyway , he deserves a go and I reckon he’ll handle pressure alright

I imagine Carr will be a pretty calm coach in the box. But I do love a coach who smashes stuff. Hopefully we get some good highlights

You could see Lynch had done his quad/driver a few moments before he went mental with Wakes. He obviously realised he was done.
