Do Collingwood need to enter a rebuild phase?

Not relevant to anything but I would love it if we have 22 Prime Goodes, 22 Prime Pavlich's and 22 Prime Bonts and had some games between the three teams to see which team would win.

I like to think so but I am biased. I do think though that Goodes, Pavlich and Bontempelli are all in the same sort of category of big players who could play in almost any position on the field and play it at either at an AA level or very close to it.

It is still the Brownlow though, so it is only an award for half the players in the AFL, not the other half.

I can't remember the last time a player who might scrape into the top 10 in the comp as a $4.50 Brownlow fave heading into the season...

Great, everyone has a different opinion. I'd say at least 80% would rate Butters higher than Serong. You don't, and that's fine....but when you watch them play I don't believe Serong is really that close to the level of Butters. Butters will be offered $2m+ per year end of 2026 - no way Serong would command that sort of coin, and for good reason. But if you rate Serong higher that's fine, I just don't see it.

I think only Collingwood supporters would rank Daicos ahead of the Bont.

Being a tiger finals performances would have a bit of bearing

Serong has been bog in 2 of his 3 finals and got 3 coaches votes in the other

If no club offered 24yr serong who’s been bnf and AA the past 3 years
2 million a season I’d eat my hat

I love butters he’s a gun
But to say one’s a 2 mil player and the other No Way is a bit of a stretch

Also I think Cameron, Gawn, Bont are clearly better than Daicos, with Andrews, being close. I also love Sam Taylor, wish he was at the Swans

1. Daicos, Bont and Serong or Rowell, or
2. Anderson, Dawson and Richards
