Don’t think that’s the worst score

The third section of five was where we scored the least runs but think it was the most important. Renshaw and Stoinis kept there wickets and allowed us to go hard in the last five and get to a score. If they lost their wicket early we might have struggled to get past 150

182 is definitely a score that can be worked with.

Our tactic has to be slow balls, slow balls and then some more slow balls. The ball is really gripping the surface .

Not a great score but that's probably enough to beat a team like Ireland.

Should be plenty with no Abbott and Dwarshius bowling pies tonight

180 is a good score in Sri Lankan conditions

Think that would have been the message sent to them, just stick around and rotate the strike . There really was no effort to be aggressive and take the game on.

Definitely should have been. Not sure why they are so lenient on that rule. Anything 50-50 should be a no ball but they do it the other way, so many get missed
They have all the players waist measurements at this tournament and use eagle-eye to measure the height of the ball at the crease. They'd have checked it. It looks like this: FB_IMG_1770808791084.webp

Anything halfway up the shin should just be a no ball.

If a bowler is missing their mark by that much they deserve to have to bowl it again.

Well done lads 180 on the board should be enough on a low slow wickets

Good start by Inglis and greenie at the start got the score motoring along

Renshaw provided the glue in the middle knocking it around and stoinis batted well at the end

Yeah it’s not terrible. Our batting looks hopelessly out of form though.

Inglis needs to be making more than 30’s and sorry I’ll say it this isn’t the first time lately Green has made a useless 20 odd. I want him batting 3/4 in this side but enough is enough 20 off 11 is not cutting it. Be lucky to beat SL in this form. Stoinis looks in great nick.

Admittedly i cant complain with 45 off 29! But another reason to hate Stoinis, pulls one out of the bag to prove me wrong 😜

He’s been pretty good in t20’s lately. It’s the other form he was farcical for 3 plus years and kept getting gigs.

Fair enough. I bow to your extra knowledge and a good use of technology

Not sure why Connolly was wearing heels during the measurements though

190 has been enough for most games this tournament

It’s not 190 though…it’s a “fine” score and possibly enough tonight but very good? Nope. That’s 200 plus
