Yeah, he was only one of the most effective players in the competition going inside 50 in 2025...
And seems you missed my reference to Daicos x 2.

'Exposed badly', in finishing top 4, beating the number 1 seed at their home ground in a Qualifying Final, and being an Elliott non free away from being a goal down in the Preliminary Final with 8 minutes to go and all the momentum against the eventual premiers....What do Richmond have to do with this thread? Moronic take from a moronic poster
You had a charmed run in the first half of 2025 but the cracks were there for all to see and you were exposed badly in the second half of the year.

If you don't realise that the one thing Lipinski is good at is hitting a target, particularly inside 50 then maybe step away from the conversation and let the people who know what they are talking about talk. The ones that hit targets inside 50 with high certainty for the Pies are Lipinski, Daicos x2, Pendlebury, Houston and McCreery. They are not all A Graders but they can hit targets. Mocking those players kicking just screams troll. If you are hanging your hopes on Lipinski then its worse than i thought down there. The epitome of a journeyman C grader
Yeah, I might be different to you in that I rate players who can deliver the ball inside 50 well quite highly. If you are hanging your hopes on Lipinski then its worse than i thought down there. The epitome of a journeyman C grader
Worst final 4 since...2020? 2017?'Exposed badly', in finishing top 4, beating the number 1 seed at their home ground in a Qualifying Final, and being an Elliott non free away from being a goal down in the Preliminary Final with 8 minutes to go and all the momentum against the eventual premiers....
So you're comparing him with players who played up to half as many games? The concept of Lipinski being effective inside 50 is true. For players who played 12+ (I like a dozen as a number) he ranked 19th for disposal inside 50 retained by own team.
Problem is he ranked 95th for average inside 50s.
Context here is important kids.

I'm not a stats expert. But what you are saying is that there were a lot of players who kicked it much more inside 50 then he did so they had more retained inside 50 stats. I guess context is important. The concept of Lipinski being effective inside 50 is true. Excluding Hill, who I expect we've written off for the season (and didn't offer much in 2025) Collingwood are going into the 2026 season with a fit list aside from two players who are racing against the clock to be right for round 0...The team is going into the season with question marks around the forward line and with Howe injured. And he's mid '30's with a history of going down. DeGoey also struggles to play out a full season and he's another key player for you.

There's a bit of that, and a bit of players who played half as many games, so had far fewer possessions retained inside 50 across the season.I'm not a stats expert. I gave him the benefit of the doubt and assumed he was making two separate points.Stopped reading after this.

Of course there are plenty of players who get the ball more and kick it inside 50 much more and therefore have higher amount of retention by pure numbers then Lipinski. But year on and year out Lipinski is up their for percentage retained and scores from 50 entry's. He is a pure C grade talent (maybe B grader at times) in my books but you cant fault his kicking. Its class. Put it in his hands any day of the week over most players in the league. There's a bit of that, and a bit of players who played half as many games, so had far fewer possessions retained inside 50 across the season.
Lipinski is one of those bang for buck players, who will influence a result more with his 20 quality possessions than a ball butcher who gets 30.
I think I said it better with less bullshit.Yes.
That's what I said. Thank you for repeating it.
What made Adelaide pretenders?‘We beat Adelaide who went on to be absolute pretenders we are da best'

Collingwood breaking them.

Mihocek (as his name is correctly spelt) is no longer on Collingwood's list, so isn't considered when referencing Collingwood's injury list.Miochek ??
