Justin Van unen back at Kilsyth, they have had a few big signings this pre season. Most of the players on big $$$ I would assume are all eligible to play vets looking at their age.

I believe Kilsyth and Ringwood have both benefited from hosting the 2025 EFNL finals at their venues. This is evident through their 2026 player signings, and it appears that both clubs are well positioned to host finals in 2026 and for future seasons.Justin Van unen back at Kilsyth, they have had a few big signings this pre season. Spending a bit of coin for the glory of a 5th Division flag, especially when half the comp will be uncompetitive anyway.
You really think Doncaster will be that uncompetitive that you put them along with Forest Hill and Nunawading? Look I don't see Doncaster contending for a flag, but I certainly see them getting closer to finals than B.T or Croydon North.Looking like:
CHIRNSIDE
FAIRPARK
WARRANDYTE
KILYSTH
B-T
CNMLOC
DONCASTER
FOREST HILL
NUNA
With big gaps between.

You are miles off with Doncaster. They will play finals.Looking like:

Huge blow for Montrose with gun recruit Brodie McLaughlin backflipping on his decision to leave the VFL. He’s signed on with Box Hill Hawks.
Isn't his leg a bit f$*%ed?
Foot fracture, though doesn’t seem like the specifics or recovery timeline have officially cropped up anywhere.
Finals will be a stretch for Doncaster I feel. Particularly being a totally new team that haven’t played together before.
It’s only a Top 4, Fair Park are a given, and you would think Chirnside, Warrandyte and Kilsyth will be good again.
But who knows - as long as they can be competitive I think it’s a tick - and if they’re competitive they could well be in the finals mix.
You'd think that, given the injury, his availability to whoever would seem a bit of a moot point.
Financial security maybe?

Whats the alternative? Just stay in Div 4?
CNMLOC and Bulleen weren't uncompetitive last year, both could have played finals if results had of fallen their way in the last round. I doubt they have gone backwards to the point of not being competitive.
Its presumed Fairpark, Chirnside, Warrandyte and Kilsyth will be all be super competitive.
Doncaster is a little unknown. I doubt they will win more than 6 games. It will be great for them to start a new local rivalry with Bulleen/Templestowe, i think they will be playing a lot of football against each other in the next few years.
But yes Nunawading and Forest Hill will uncompetitive. But its no different to what Norwood has been over the last 2 years, yet they will roll around in Div 1 again in 2026.
Maybe they should save there money and put it into the Junior club at FP which is about to fold early next weekSpending a bit of coin for the glory of a 5th Division flag, especially when half the comp will be uncompetitive anyway.
