Geez, it's a shame you weren't called as an expert witness. Can't imagine why it didn't happen. You would've blown that pesky qualified biochemist out of the water, I'm sure.
Vastly different islands when it comes to being able to deal with this virus though, for a number of reasons.
Not at all to say that Australia hasn't done a better job at handling this than countries such as the USA and the UK, they clearly have. But Australia enjoys significant advantages...
This is pretty much it. No way is Daniher worth 2 first or anything in that area right now after the past two years. But like you said, it's hard to let go of the attachment and also the talent that may or may not be fulfilled.
If Essendon were demanding Heeney/Blakey and guys of the nature, they are 100% unreasonable and the calls of Sydney lowballing are laughable.
Blakey and Heeney by themselves are worth more than Daniher. For someone like Heeney I would be wanting Daniher plus something else.
So Essendon were requesting a player/players? Would love to know exactly which ones they were asking for.
If Sydney were will to offer a first round pick plus a future first, that's very, very generous. Huge laughs at Essendon fans claiming they were lowballed if that's accurate.
Am I missing something about the whole "but they didn't actually have pick 9" thoughts?
It's an obvious situation of "if we trade Papley for pick 9, will that plus pick 5 be enough" isn't it?
What about it? It was a wrong decision. What's your point? Are we going to complain about every wrong decision rather than focus on the reason that we lost?
The problem is that people seem to love complaining and being the victim so much that they almost hope the umpiring is crap just so they can complain.
You'll never see so much hysterical whinging as there are in bigfooty threads over tiny umpiring decisions.
