Hello gents

This is not a troll by any stretch of the imagination but I wa at the game today only because both my duaghters follow Collingwood, (talk about schoolyard bullying) but I would like to present my thoughts on the match as an impartial observer.

1. Yes, you did well and truly deserve to win
2. The Eagles were insipid today as they did not want to tackle or do the hard things. (Not your problem).
3. Even though you guys won by 100 points, there were numourous occasions where you guys scord through luck rather than through a game plan.
4. If the Eagles were switched on, then I believe the result would have been closer to a 30 point victory to the Pies. ( Thats only speculation but they were truly not interested).
5. Don't get to carried away with victories of this magnitude over a side that really didn't come to play.
6. Malthouse said the same thing but in not so many words.

As I said, only my observation, no more no less.

Basically agree with this.

But at the end of the day it's better to win by 100 ponts than anything less if only for the percentage to be gained.

It's a far cry from last year when 38 points was our greatest winning margin.

Thats a fair call and agree with what you say.

Strav bud you are basically saying that we didin't deserve to win by 100 points, the Eagles might as well have sent a WAFL team and talking through your behind to boot. Well done. Trying to diminsh a very polished performance that your rabble could only dream of producing against a team full of All Australians. Very, very foolish words. A few points about your points:
1. Yes we deserved to win, why state the obvious?
2. Yes the Eagles were poor, so what? They were not poor last week. Neither were the Magpies, again what was your point in making that observation?
3. Any team that wins by 100 points does not score through luck, many of the goals were kicked from unlikely angles etc, but tell me that it was luck that the footy went inside 50 enough times to win by 100 points and all you are doing is demonstrating your jealousy.
4. What is this 30 point victory twaddle? Mate for what ever reason we pumped the Eagles like a second hand German air rifle and the margin was not 30 points. Who is to say the Eagles were not switched on? Last time I looked they were a team of professional footy players so, they were as switched on as Collingwood let them be.
5. You just said this but in different words! Someone call a waaaambulance, who are you to lecture us about getting carried away, if the Tigers managed to string 2 wins of over 15 goals together we wouldn't see the end of Terry Tan on the TV, so if you don't like it get the Mrs to take the kids to the footy.
6. We are supporters not coaches, our job is to cheer, Mick's is to get ready for the next game and I would suggest that yours is to STFU and stay on the Tigers board.

Sounds like it was a long day for a Tiger (used to seeing his team scrape out a win about every 3 weeks) having to watch the Pies destroy a team for the second week in a row. Are we getting carried away? No, we are celebrating a good win without a key forward, love to see your lot without Richo win by 15 points, let alone 15 goals.

Only my observations, no more no less.

you guys played well, i wish wce had your small forwards lol, you still need a good ruckman though with cox flogging fraiser
 Yes obviously Cox had such a huge impact on the ruck that he managed to keep the score to respectable 100 points . Just goes to prove what most on here have been talking about for at least the last 12 months, ruck hit outs mean didddly squat when your little men are squibbing it. I think Josh spent about 50% TOG, and had a huge rest while our second string ruck man let Cox tap it straight to our rovers:thumbsu:. Josh will be tip top for having had his easiest run of the year, cheers West Coast, for playing with all the backbone of a used franger.

Your entitled to your opinion but if you are having a hard seeing the game for what it was, then thats your problem and not mine. I only called it as I saw it.

As far as last week is concerened, thats in the past and as you can see, a week in footy is a long time.

Collingwood supporters are all-too well-versed in "ifs". If the umpires didn't decide to turn our Round 2 game into a complete farce, the result would have been closer to a 30 point victory to the Pies in that one too. You take them when you can get them.

You beat a side who have won about 25 in a row and were always going to soon have a loss. (Hawthorn this week also)And you pumped a crap bottom 4 West Coast and you all jump around like your team of the century.Get over youselves.

I feel sorry for you... is there no one on the Richmond board today?

I liked this shot, but couldn't find a Take a Bow Josh thread; so since this was a contribution to that 100 points, I'll post it here.

Fair points, but I don't think anyone is acting like we are world-beaters.

I think the majority here are happy that we managed to smash a team, whereas last year we would have won by 5 goals. It's a sign that we are becoming ruthless.

I'll feel sorry for you.....in September.

Mate! Are you looking for a hug?
We all feel sorry for you now.
Don't you go getting all upset on our behalf. We're all big boys and girls and when our team kicks 1 goal in a half of footy we'll just have a quiet cry to ourselves..
By the way how's that fella Wallet treating you all done there at Punt Rd?

I'm sure all opposition supporters would have us believe the only reason we won on the weekend was because WCE were missing Judd and Cousins just like the finals last year.
