Was a decent first game. Made a couple of skill errors (not alone there) but also showed some good signs. Bit of a (now) traditional first game for Carlton - playing in a side that gets spanked by 10 goals.... Nevertheless, well done to the young man.

Thought he was pretty good in limited showing yesterday. Somewhat of a baptism of fire being thrown into an undermanned backline. Hope he retains his spot for the game against Collingwood

The kick just lacked the elevation to get over the North player's head. Otherwise it would have been a pinpoint pass to his teammate.

I like him too. He's got a bit of fight/mongrel about him. Every time he was near an opposition player he nudged them and showed no signs of being intimidated or overawed by them. We need a few more players who are going to give a bit as our side seems a little full of nice guys.

Thought his overall game was very good. He made a couple of errors but the good outweighed the bad. What I particularly enjoyed was him turning onto his left side and instead of trying to duck back onto his dominant side like 90% of other modern day players, he just kicked it beautifully on his left. It's such a massive advantage and I have no idea why so few modern players are competent on their non-dominant sides but it's very pleasing to see how comfortable he looked. Very good signs in just his second game. Definitely a senior player in the making.
