Hey Mister Lying Sack of Shit, have you removed the outliers in your above calcs?![]()
Haven't removed any numbers. If you don't want anomolies removed we can calculate numbers using the expasion teams with the whole AFL numbers included. Check the numbers.
If you cared to wait 30 minutes last night from when I said "I'll tell you later" and not jump the gun you would have had full answers. I would have had time to write a full explanation to the calculations. I took the time between appointments at work to post up some numbers for you to digest. I told you I'd be back. You start shooting accusations. By the time I can sit down and write out a proper outline you have lost you head and frothed all over your keyboard. This is your modus operandi, go of half cocked with partial information to draw dodgy conclusions. You do this to deflect from the fact that you are casting half-truths about as usual. When you are found out your rant gets louder to distract everyone from the fact that you were not quite correct.
Your question was about this years average figure. I answered. You can look at all figures minus the 1st & 2nd year teams to base a historical reference. You can do it for Port too if you like. I have no problem with any club doing home game analysis of crows at their home venue and to create a historical reference, exclude the new teams which did not exist prior. It is a valid statistical measure. There is no point doing an extensive break down of what the numbers are telling us, as you have already used the tissue to clean up and then fallen asleep. Figures like this could actually help your club. But instead of using them as information to move forward you attempt to troll instead of make your club better.
Another way is to include the new teams but use the AFL numbers as a reference. Doing what I did yesterday would not make Port look as bad as looking at percentage change numbers based on the past, and comparing to overall AFL figures. A decline in crowd numbers by 13% more than the AFL average. Now thats just humiliating. A 23% decrease from the '04-'09 period. I could go further back into the past but it is not a fair comparison because of the AAMI redevelopment, but it makes your figures look even worse.
To quote a famous line "Take care of the log in your own eye before you try to remove the splinter out of another's"
