Just on hunger, Atley gave it to Goldy on Friday night. I think it was in the second quarter, on the bombers half forward flank. Goldy contested a ground ball near the boundary line and probably should have been able to get the footy over the line, but didn't and the * player ran away with it and * ended up with a shot at goal.

Atley gave Goldy a mouthful. I like this because setting higher standards even for guys that are dominating games is a must if we are going to improve.

Right in front of where I sit. Goldy was visibly furious at himself and atley gave him a spray. This group will get over their mental frailties if they start demanding the best from each other, and there have been signs lately of this starting to happen.

I mentioned the Atley spray in another thread. Warmed my heart. Noticed it is something that Higgins does a lot, wonder if it has rubbed off on other players - if so we seriously underrated the impact the bloke would have on our football club.

Higgins has found a voice, he was as quiet as a church mouse at the dogs.

Atley needs to back it up this week, he should take all the kick ours and run the length of the field only Lewy Taylor from the lions list would get close to him...
