Why has he not come on as expected.Thats the question we should be asking. We need pace in the midfield as we look slow against the top sides.

Really? Another injury. Can't take a trick.

Far better than 6 touches in the VFL and having blokes from Bigfooty, who weren't at the game (clearly as he went off before half time), calling him mentally soft and putting a line through him as a player!

Mentally soft calls are a little wide of the mark, but he won't make it.

Soft mentally in regards to football.

Effort is related to mental capacity and will. Winning the football is related to effort. He's shown that he struggles with this at both vfl and afl levels .

Lacks required effort and will to play at the top level.
You could have just said
Mentally soft

2. The presence of Bastinac shifted Brad McKenzie out to a more customary role on the wing, where he didn’t disappoint.

“He played the role really well and used it well by foot.

“When he was in tight he was still clean, it was a solid day.”

Posters who actually watch the games seem to regularly give vastly different reviews than our coaches on our VFL players.

Much prefer reading those to what the club provides to be honest.

These reports seem to just look for any positive angle and spin it rather than just call it how it is/was.

3. Working in tandem with Bastinac through the middle of the ground, Brad McKenzie was impressive on the way to 24 disposals. He ran hard to create, with eight handball receives.

“It was his best game for the year, playing both inside mid and on the wing,” Brown said.

“He used the ball really well and was clean while also tackling strongly and competing well.

“It was really pleasing and an all-round good game.”

Yep, turn him into an inside mid, too. Just what we need.

'snot his fault. Being as slow as he is, an inside gig is about his only chance.

Actually, his better chance is that NDS style quarterback role. Hover around the back of packs and distribute the ball cleanly. My god he's a mile off being able to do that at AFL level. And even then he adds to the risk of being burnt defensively.

I've pretty much put a fork in him TBH :(
