Who is Van Dam?

188/189cm half back/midfielder. Was on our VFL list last year but only played a couple of games later in the season. Really taken his game to another level as he has matured physically over the last 18 months.

Really neat ball user but has a physical intensity/power in his game, loves to tackle and really throws his body around.

Bit of a Dunkley type.

Harry was starting across HF and rolling up, McKercher was behind, pushing up.

The aim appears to be get the ball to Colby where possible.

I hope the plan isn’t to play both Kerch and Caleb together in the backline again. No wonder our defenders get beat so often, 4 against 6.

Long term injury prior to the Supp Period closing prior to round 1.

Or an LTI in the first half of the year, and we take him in the MSD. Only two options.

Reckon we may have ****ed up with Van Dam, think we may lose him .

As in people at the club think we should’ve drafted him? We’re definitely missing that type of player.

Seeing as no one else did and he’s training with us it seems pretty unlikely he’d get picked up by another club but has happened before ie Markov to Collingwood.

Didn't feature in the 5 second year players expected to explode next year and barely snuck into the list of the best 50 players under 23.

He's got A grader written all over him and he'll be central to our resurgence.

Like any business there's those pro and those against. But yes there are a few that wanted him. And tbh BOABanch, harvey, Konstanty, Dovaston, Spargo, Hansen Jnr.Think it wouldn't be a stretch to rather have VD than say Harvey or Hansen on the list.
