Weakest cup field ever, the inclusion of Bold Bard in the field makes a mockery of the great race.

Deadset, i could get a nag out of a paddock and give Bold Bard a tight race.

Just hope the donkeys don't make nuisances of themselves.

imho this is your run of the mill melb cup field with a few poms thrown in to make doing the form pointless, & yet i still cant help meself, got to load up again even though i havent had a win in the race for 4 years (grinds teeth).

so you may want to discount the following -

Ain't Seen Nothin will run a huge race - outside of Pentastic, her's was the best cup trial of the Mckinnon runners, & she gets in with a lovely weight.

I can't get it out of my head that Piachay's form leading into the Brisbane Cup was nothing short of aweful

at the $100 + on offer on Tuesday, I also will be saving on this fellow, with zero to lose

Oink !

I'm trying my best to stick with Mummify after Satdys poor showing.

Frightening has me worried.

Makybe Diva is the other I like. Boss is one of those riders been round for a while, due for something like this.

Go the 'Street!

(And Makybe Diva too, probably a more realistic chance than Millstreet.)

Also, I was looking at the field today and was wondering if anyone has ever seen a worse #1 in a Melbourne Cup than Jardine's Lookout?? I know I haven't.

Jardines is a knockout chance horse, don't be so critical of our great race

I'm sticking with Hugs Dancer as my top pick

Makybe Diva hardest to beat

and Piachay as my mad placegetter paying $40 for the place

best of luck all

Oink !

for what its worth would know more if they pulled a cart.My cup tip is for MAKABE DIVA. Saving on Frightening and married to a Big Pat so will have to have something on that too.

Will be at eagle farm so hopefully have a good day out.

CHEERS

fawaz seems an interesting runner, was going as well as big pat on saturday & now meets that horse better at the weights, & at 60/1 v's big pat at 25/1 i know where my money would be going.

heaps of pace

Millstreet likely leader, Hugs Dancer the other likely leaders

Mamool, Mummify, Frightening, Debben all not far away

Piachay could also go forward at some stage

Oink !
