I would not consider Gibbs a tagger. He is not good enough defensively - see 4 goals.
Think a few are underrating Redden this year. Was equal third in the clearances, first in tackles and averaging 26 disposals a game before starting to get tried on the outside. Was kicking more goals too.
Obviously needs to stay in the centre and be consistent though.

He's a KPD that has only played 60 games. What do you expect? Defenders need to play at least three good seasons in a row before the rest of the public notices them.
people put him below Schoenmakers. it's ridiculous. Schoenmakers is only well known because until his 3 good games and an injury last year he was a renowned rag doll. it's stupid

It's the emperor has no clothes on thing with Hawthorn. Everyone's a champion in the champion team. Seeing what one of them wrote about Paul Puopolo in the most underrated in the league thread on the MB you would have thought he was Simon Black rather than a handy role player.

I'd say you haven't watched Yarran much this year if you still hold this opinion of him.
Has been very good this year - his work rate especially. Nothing he's displayed thus far in 2014 would indicate he's "lazy".

Much as he's continually overrated, Cyril is miles ahead.
Yarran's becoming what Lovett was for Essendon, damaging and a match winner but just as likely to have 10 possies as 30.

Oh does he mean the GC Bennel? I thought he meant the West Coast one (he was a west coast supporter) well yes Bennell is a gun (which is why he was taken so highly) I think they are slightly different players though. Bennell accumulates more, but I think at the moment Yarran is more damaging. Both will be amazing players though.
Yarran is the clear standout on talent, starting to get some consistency as well in 2014.
