Could be pretty tight going into tomorrow's game for the wild card spots. I'm flying home to Hobart from Brisbane tomorrow (via Sydney), so I'll have to pay the $5 on the plane to view about half of the game. Does anyone know if Fox Sports/ESPN is shown in Sydney Airport?

i wouldve thought seeds 1,4,5 & 8 would be on the left side, and 2,3,6 & 7 on the right.

The split is a little deceiving cos it's the same if the branches were all on the left hand side. It works out the same in the end.

Also, going by seedings knockout formula, the #1 seed usually gets grouped with the worst best seeds.

So, seeds 1, 4, 6, 8 in one group. And 2, 3, 5, 7 in the other group.

I checked some Tennis grand-slam tournies and they had that grouping. Maybe some others do it differently. But the reasoning being that the higher seeds generally win, so the #1 seed should be facing the worst best seeds in the qtrs, semis.

But if im wrong, let me know.

i like it. there's a few different groupings.....another is 1,3,5,7 & 2,4,6,8.....havent noticed the one you put up too often is all.

in the end, you just have to outscore the person you're up against.

There's a few blockbuster matchups this week, with a few very highly ranked CR tipsters going to bit the dust. The right side of the draw has (CR rankings): 1 v 3, 2 v 9 and 4 v 8, with 10 v 13 on the left side. At least 3 of the top 9 will be left to ponder what went wrong.
