Essendon Consensus 2009

Over a period we will conduct polls to find out the Essendon board's opinion on the following topics. Two topics will be conducted for a week's period until all the topics are fullfilled. Only those who are listed as Essendon supporters will have their vote taken seriously. At the end of each week the results will be edited to this thread, anybody who wishes to choose the category 'other' for any poll must identify their choice to me via PM.

Week 1: Coaching Staff Approval = Monday 20th, July - Monday 27th, July
Week 1: Board Approval = Monday 20th, July - Monday 27th, July
Week 2: CEO = Monday 27th, July - Monday 3rd, August
Week 2: Coach = Monday 27th, July - Monday 3rd, August
Week 3: Captaincy = Monday 3rd, August - Monday 10th, August
Week 3: Vice Captaincy = Monday 3rd, August - Monday 10th, August
Week 4: Delistings/Retirees = Monday 10th, August - Monday 17th, August
Week 4: 2009 Draft = Monday 10th, August - Monday 17th, August
Week 5: Which of the next 5 years do you expect to be our best? = Monday 17th, August - Monday 24th, August
Week 5: Expectations in 2010 = Monday 17th, August - Monday 24th, August
Week 6: Most hated players at the club = Monday 24th, August - Monday 31st, August
Week 6: Most liked players at the club = Monday 24th, August - Monday 31st, August
Week 7: Best 22 = Monday 31st, August - Monday 7th, September
Week 7: Future of Reserves = Monday 31st, August - Monday 7th, September

yeh not bad, but who would you put in the poll? or maybe do it with say an option being.. inside mid Under 25 and etc

The problem with a Trade Targets one would be people saying "get abkletts he kicks lots of goals".

Start it the week after our season finishes? If you can wait that long...

Yeah probably option B.

Spikey proves a point also, but I'm sure that most people won't take this as a joke. It could be like Realistic Trade Targets or something.

I was part of getting the first one going, so I'm very much for this!

There is always going to be differing views in here. But it's good to see what we as a group, or the 'majority' think.

However, I think this is best done at the end of the season, as things will no doubt change in the next 2 months.

This will also make 'draft targets' and 'delistings' more accurate too!

Also check the rules Merv put forward for the last one to make sure it works properly. Eg. No votes counted from those who don't have Essendon listed as their team.
