If we got a good deal out of it I would be pretty happy but anyway for now I'm going to shelve that one with your Ryan Gamble and Beau Dowler to Carlton rumours ;)

Its coming straight from people connected to carlton mate - just passing on the information they provide

Its upto you as i said grain of salt

Lucas Cook anyone know more on this guy delisted. I heard he was picked by Melbourne as a first round pick. 2010 NAB AFL Draft 1st round selection (Melbourne) No. 12 overall. I read this on the Melbourne Football Club site - His ball use and work ethic are at an elite level and he played mainly as a hit-up forward pushing high up the ground to mark well. Unfortunately a hip injury required surgery in 2012 and he will be given time to recover through the pre-season.

Whats peoples opinion about Ben Kennedy? I know he's small .. but would we still pull the trigger if he was there at our pick, given his talent?

Would love him C4.... Can dominate middle or forward hard as nails and has more pace than anyone in our midfield... There isn't much to dislike about him!

Thanks for the feedback.

I'm starting to warm to him - hoping he is there at our pick, would he be a permanent midfielder? whats his disposal like?

If Stringer doesn't drop and if Hartigan is considered a reach, BK is my next guy. Partial to Wines, but he's a distant 4th.

Thanks Krayfesh .. I've heard all sorts of wonderful things about Stringer, i haven't seen any vision, but the descriptions of him pre-injury by those on the drafting/trading board make him sound amazing. Is there a player that you can liken him to?

Either I guess he'll most likely start as a forward who will pinch hit in the middle, once his tank develops it'll be the other way around, beauty of him is he will put pressure on Betts and Garlett to perform because his forward 50 pressure is very good! This all providing we get him of course.
His kick for a little bloke is excellent, hits targets 50 meters away no problem.

Tigers are very keen I'm pretty sure

Pavlich would be closest

The haters will complain that we drafted another pacy midget after getting Buckley last year. ;)

I like Glenelg and Swan Districts players.

I would give the Suns our first pick for Caddy and run away like Homer in the land of the chocolate.

I would actually want more from the GCS than just Caddy for #11, which will become a Top 10 pick as Essendon will use #10 on Daniher, and could be as high as #9 if Melbourne have to use #3 on Viney

I would ask for Toy to be thrown in as well. He will be leaving GCS for Vic and will be a good player IF he gets his act together. Richmond have been rumoured to be favorites for Caddy and Toy for #9 (a pick basically in front of ours in the pecking order) so I don't think it would be too far a stretch if things fell through there to get the same kind of deal for them.

I'd be quite happy to let the haters do as they do, Kennedy will be better than Buckley, Prestia and smith...

Would be stoked if we drafted him, plenty of others I could say that about too. Very confident we'll get an excellent player with pick 11, reckon there's good depth in the draft too so really hoping we get a gem with our second pick.

I saw someone post above that Colqhoun could be around at 2nd Rnd Pick.

If he is - snap him up, he is another half back flanker but he showed at the carnival and is a more mature bigger bodied player, could make an impact.
Wouldn't call him bigger bodied at 179cm and 72kg but he is a terrific reader of the play, elite kick and great decision maker. Brilliant delivery into the forward 50. Well worth considering for our second rounder.

Could be a good replacement for Heath Scotland.

Played like a big bodied player when i saw him at the carnival this week, it is U18's so there are some lightweights running around.

I think a Pavlich would be his closest liken, other than that i know this is gonna sound over the top but Kouta because of his ability to play anywhere. can play midfield or key position. woulda gone top 3 if not for injury
