As im led to believe
He will put a 1million dollar price tag on his head and will fall to Sydney, unless a team like Port Adelaide, or maybe Melbourne, or Gold Coast or Brisbane wanted to **** with him and pick him up, you'd think they might be able to scrape together the salary

Its all speculation until the results of the investigation

I still think they'd take him, looks to be one of the few ruckman wilth talent and skills at a young age
He'll be in the Kreuzer/NicNat category and i think they'd take him anyway

Melbourne would snatch him up at 4 though

Going on precedent with this, see Greg Williams when he transferred to Carlton in 1991, Tippett will be deregistered and banned from playing for x weeks. Considering that if it comes out that it was his manager and father who instigated all of this then it is a good possibility that he could be completely deregistered and forced into the ND draft next year if he still wants to keep playing after his year out. It could also be that the AFL decides to fine him the sum of $200k (the amount being thrown around that he got paid above his contract) for his efforts in all of this.

I reckon that his manager will be delisted and banned from managing an AFL player again if he was one of the instigating parties and his dad could be taken to court by the AFL and sued for trying to influence and disrupt the AFL draft and trades period by forcing a secret clause into his sons contract after the contract was originally presented to the AFL commission.

If it comes out that Sydney did know about the clause (tipped off by Tippetts dad about it) then they should also be wacked with the big stick for draft tampering in that they attempted to knowingly use an illegal clause in a players contract to benefit themselves.

If there is no whacking, I would at least like to see us take the AFL to court.

The AFL made an example of Carlton, now they have to show that Clubs, Players, managers dont make the AFL look stupid, and this whole deal is making the AFL very red faced and they will bite back bigtime. So nice to know that Carlton have no involvement inn this, we suffered our fate now times for others to take there (afl)Medicine..

There's a Brisbane club who could select him with pick eight. Unless Crazy Vossy makes a last minute offer of pick eight and Polec for Tippett. :p

The AFL will be hoping that Tippett gets to GC or GWS.:mad:
 
Mayes was touted as the best kick in the draft, huge upside, no chance he'll fall to us.

Hopefully with him being taken Port take Menzel n keep safe.

GWS take whitfield, Grundy Toumpas ( having said that they're in a postion or luxury of taking needs over B/A... so them taking plowman at #3 i personally dont think its out of the question. If toumpas goes to #4 that will change everything big time.)

Garner has a lot of X factor, so i wouldn't be surprised if the tiges take a punt, they dont have anyone like him on their list.

Recon the lions will take a punt on either Shaw or Jaksch.

Dogs need pace and a KPD/F so could see them taking O'rourke/Garlett and Plowman/Jaksch

Bummers gifted Daniher.

Who ever it is we get hopefully it is stringer they will be very very good.

Thanks Sin, that's what I thought, and there was talk that Judd could do that to come to us if the Eagles had decided to take Richmond's offer for him instead, but I wasnt sure if that was the PSD too.

Awfully close to draft tampering if you ask me.

Could he be a pick up in the Rookie Draft, or possible even a late pick in the National Draft if he nominates.

A few posters on the Richmond board are into him, but they said apparently we are looking at him
I don't know if theyre just drawing that from the fact he plays for the Northern blues or if they actually know anything.

May highlight some prefrences to rogers but trust in him this year, also depends how much juniors he's watched?

id imagine next year after having a greater gauge on the team etc he'll have substantially larger input
