Jaksch will be gone, so Mason Shaw at 17 & Brant Colledge with our 2nd rounder, if available.

I'm 90% sure we will pass on Mason Shaw. I would put money on it, if he's available we will overlook him.

ROSICH: If there's a way and means of us adding to our list via the pre-season draft or free-agency, then we'll certainly assess that on its merits. It's been proven that the only other way to get really talented key-position forwards on to your list is via early draft picks. We hope to finish high enough on the ladder so early draft picks won't be available to us.
I pray to god Terry is talking out of this rear-end which he usually is... Hrovat is a 2nd rounder at best. Small, slow, good hands in close but thats about it. Homeless mans Scott West, which is close to last on our list of needsWallace on AFL Trade Radio said that he has heard Freo are after Nathan Hrovat for their first round selection.
A 174cm midfielder is not something we are short off and, in keeping with our policy of ignoring needs, I fully expect that this will happen. Selecting someone like Shaw when we have a glaring deficiency in developing talls would be way too simple.
2nd pick obviously/3rd not much difference anymoreWat do u guys think of James Stewart or Michael Close ... on same website as previous suggestion
Both seem as if they would fill our NEEDS hole
Would Freo consider drafting Tom Gillies former Cats????
There is still free-agency for delisted players, but that would mean delisting another player ourselves.
alright guys trade week is over, time to stop whinging and moaning about it, its time to use the cards we have been dealt. with picks 17,37 and 40 in the draft what would your wish list be?
For me i would go:
17: Mason Shaw
37: Spencer White
40: Adam Carter or Sam Lowrie

37 Hartman
40 Rodda
80 Pearce upgrade
Rookie Draft

Looks mighty fine17 Jacksch
37 Hrovat
40 Nelson (Why didn't we rookie draft him last year)
80 Pearce upgrade
