I love the look of Mcinnes.

Darling at 29 and this kid at 28 just wow.

Watched third and fourth. Looks like a lack of effort after an early burst from Perth

He went to hospital with a really sore foot. May well be a broken ankle.

Sucks about Wilson.

Newman 11 touches and a behind, Koby Stevens 20 touches and a goal. Don't think he touched the ball in the last quarter, injured aswell??

After watching the derby on monday Stevens was absolutely stuffed. The plane flight, then a real physical game destroyed him. Didn't celebrate, last into the rooms, really exhausted. Probably explains why he may have tired today after a 5 day break.

Watched Strijk pretty closely in the foxtel cup game against Werribee. Was kind of disappointing actually, didn't really have much of influence, gathered 13 touches and missed a crucial goal.
Not really relevant anymore but i thought J.Jones did pretty well for the Falcons, was played predominantly through the middle.

SUNDAY TIMES " REVIEW "

A Smith - K 9 H 8 M 4 Quiet start but worked his way into the contest off HB .
S Tunbridge - K 6 H 3 M 2 Played mostly in defence and was quiet .
F McIness - K 11 H 3 M 6 Gls 2 Provided a good target up forward .
M Brown - K 4 H 7 M 3 Defender shut down Brad Holmes out of the game .
K Stevens - K 10 H 10 M 2 Midfielder damaging at the clearances .
S Lycett - K 7 H 6 M 4 Gls 3 Well held by Luke Weller but was injured late .
B Wilson - K 3 H 0 M 1 Suffered a suspected broken ankle in the first term .
M Newman - K 5 H 6 M 1 Held goalless after booting five majors last week .
A Hams - K 10 H 9 M 4 Gls 2 Worked hard across HF .

McIness / Stevens / Hams / Brown good games , disappointing for Wilson who has had ankle operations the past two pre seasons .

Smith would be in contention against Collingwood, Hams is always thereabouts, Brown is KPD injury cover and the Claremont guys play today.

Wouldn't be expecting to see McInnes for a while either

i didnt think smith was fit enough yet? i also dont think brown will be getting a game any time soon unless we were in desperate need for defenders (like when schoey and emac were out)

Smith will have next week at Perth and by then he should be pushing for his spot back I'd say.

Also Dick and Papertalk played ressies for EF again. Dick 2 goals from 6 touches, Papertalk 14 touches and 4 marks. No idea how much time Dick played.

In the papers they said Dick would play 3/4's of game time so I'd pressume he played around that. Really encouraging signs. I have no doubt that he'll play at AFL level towards the end of the year. Kennedy Embley Dick Nicoski back into the forward half along with Hill Darling and Lynch will make our forward line very hard to stop come September...I'm a tad excited.
