every year i want him - every year he burns me in one way or another

I hear ya. The thing is he just has to walk on the field and scores 100. Which always makes him so bloody tempting!

Not alot of other options. Cox is in my forward line. NicNat and Sandi injured.
Still havent forgiven Goldy for his 27 in round 22 last year. I lost that game by 7 points, and it cost me a spot in my league GF. 7 points! How hard is it to score 34 points in a game, the worst rookie in my team could top that! Spud!

The wound is still fresh

Really need to try and keep emotion out of this. Running out of other options.

Averaged around 100.2 (if math is correct) after / once HMac went down. Some food for thought. I know who I have pencilled in as R1 ATM

Im looking at both, Mumford burnt me last year but I haven't given up on him quite yet. He had an interrupted preseason last year but has apparently done most sessions this year, if he's fit then I'll be jumping on.

They are both at good prices and will do the majority of ruck work for their teams. Will be interesting to see what North do with Currie and Daw tho.

There is a lot of time between now and round 1

Griffin averages around 95 when Sandilands is absent from memory, he'd be the safer option i'd think..

Would go Goldy over Griff. Should be the no 1 ruck for the whole season. Griffin will revert to his 60-70 avg wehn sandi comes back. they are both very similarly priced.

Loony would be a lock in 99% of teams if he makes it R1. Listening to Lynch during the game last night and he is hopeful of Loony making it for R1 but he has struggled in preseason with archilles, make of that what you will.

Not sure either on Goldy as his best year was when he had to do all the work and as a result he scored well. Last year he was helped out by both Big Mac and Petrie and his avg dropped. This year Currie or Daw could play a number of games again reducing his time in the ruck and probably avg too?

Mumford and Pyke may share the duties up there and neither are cheap options.

At this early stage I am looking using Cox as a FWD and maybe Ivan or Mcevoy (both are their sides no1's with not much competition) as No1 ruck and maybe Jacobs or Roughy as R2 with Jenkins or Cordy as R3 with dual positioning as flexible cover?

But who knows by R1 lockout none of the above may be in my side though

I was looking at going Goldy with Luey as R2 (would love Mummy, but dont trust him)

However, after watching Goldy in the NAB, he looked terrible. What's worse, is that he looked like he was trying.

Looking at Roughhead, Jacobs or McEvoy, but will need to downgrade a player I wanted in order to get them.

Rucks are a ****ing headache this year.
