whats bruce like though he is any good?

I'll put it this way. As a GWS fan, I'd greatly prefer to keep him, but if a player doesnt want to play for you, they dont, and thats just the reality.

I'd say we are!!!! I think we will pick up 1 more if the right player and deal comes up. Will give us that much needed depth and a few options to work with

Acquiring Bruce and another backmen, will surely squeeze 1 or 2 of the other defenders. Players like Gilbert, Simpkin may not be needed anymore

I don't know if we can get pick 1. They'd be crazy to turn down Boyd.

McEvoy for Bruce and Pick 10 or Pick 19 would be more achievable

We will have #23, #27, #44 and potentially #5, #21 and #15 (if posters on here are ITK) to hand out.

For me it would have to be #27; not a high draft pick, big bodied trier who's battled manfully out of his weight division for a couple of years to earn a spot in an AFL team; sounds like Blakey to me! Plus he's already worn #47 at GWS...

Seems his 196cm 89kg frame has become 197cm and 94kg... another couple of chicken breasts as we'll have a genuine modern monster KPD on our hands, and he only turns 22 mid next season

Bruce seems to have predominantly played FB at the Giants. I'd play him there in any event, and put Seany D next to him for some added steel in his spine.

I think Gilbert is a player we need to keep.Since returning from his knee injury his form was really impressive.I love Simpkin and the way he attacks the footy and never gives up.I hope we keep them both as not sure how long Fisher will be around for.

I've never seen him play, so I looked up some highlights of his under 18's. He looks like he has a touch of Scott Pendlebury about him, similar body shape, looks like a smooth mover. If he's half as good as Scott then he looks good!

At minimum, he's a good average player who couldnt get a regular go in a GWS midfield with Shiel, Coniglio, Ward, Scully etc etc in it.

He deserves to play first-team footy - go sign him up
