Personally think we should be going for both Bruce & Delaney

If we get say Bruce and Delaney we sure as shit won't need all of Fisher, Gwilt, Gilbo, Simpkin, Stanley, Dempster and Roberton back there with them, especially if we're also looking to find spots for the likes of Geary, Wright, Newnes, Webster, Murdoch, Siposs and anyone we draft this year. That would be enough for more than two whole backlines, all of whom you could make a strong case for playing (either due to form or for development purposes)!
B: Gwilt Bruce Wright
HB: Dempster Gilbert Newnes
B: Stanley Delaney Geary
HB: Roberton Fisher Siposs
B:
HB: Webster Simpkin Murdoch
When fit and in form, we could field two pretty decent and competitive backlines with that group.
Hopefully a few more do!!Have to say if feels damn good for someone to nominate us as their club of choice. Very happy with that.![]()

Fisher, Gwilt, Stanley, #3 + our second and third rounders
for
Patton, Bruce, Miles, Adams, #10 and GWS 4th rounder.
Solves all of our issues and still leaves us with a top 10 pick to land Bontempelli
Keep McEvoy. No point passing him along when we can pick up everything we need at Greater Western Sydney's one stop clearence shop hahaha Thanks SOS![]()
Creating competition for spots?...... I really like the sound of that! Make them want it more & work harderDelaney wants game time. If we get him across it will only be because we have traded one of Fisher/Gwilt or we're playing Delaney ahead of Bruce at this stage (Bruce might not be too happy with either).
Edit: Also if we're looking to trade Bruce and Delaney with third rounders, we'll have to trade a player for picks - my guess would be Gilbert to GC
He isn't, apparently will be at the Saints in 2014.What chance Fisher retires? Dempster is my smokey for trade.
Fisher/Gwilt are better on a flank. We have literally nobody else to play key position and every team needs at least two. If there's any team that can guarantee game time it's us.Delaney wants game time. On this Michie talk, I have heard some things that are very interesting, for lack of a better term. All I will say for now is one young Freo mid who lives in Victoria is not happy at Freo. One such player may or may not be involved here. I'll let you guys put this together.

One of Fisher/Gwilt can play on a flank but not both if we want to play Bruce and Delaney. It would be perfect to get both of them as Fisher may retire at the end of 2014 anyway and so we're back at square one at the end of next year, albeit with a couple more KPD FA options. I would love both, I just don't think we can promise both game time with the list exactly the way it is next year.Fisher/Gwilt are better on a flank. Yes, I thought the person who I am referring to was quite clear.Hmmm.... Cryptic... Your either talking about Viv Michie or Tom Sheridan, yes?![]()
Which is why we get Bruce/Delaney + rookie a state level KPD like Sully or Tippett as back up.So if Bruce get's injured we are exactly back to where we have been in 2012 and 2013, it's clear we need 2-3 KPD's.
