When the umpire stopped play at the "end" of the third quarter, there was still 5 seconds to go. So when it was decided they had made a mistake and to play out the rest of the time, why did they throw the ball up with no time on the clock? If we can have questionable goal-line technology which we accept to be right, surely we can tell time?

The Saturday night pre-game show is a joke, and a very unfunny one at that. In fact, the whole Saturday night Channel 7 experience is poor for having clowns like BT, Darcy and Mick Molloy involved. Instead of calling the game, BT would rather bang on about a blokes haircut, selling candy or whatever Richo might be wearing.

He should be suspended, or sacked, for this slur.

No I don't think that's the case. He stated that due to our tough draw in comparison with the other top 4 sides that he wouldn't be surprised if missed the top 4.

Personally, I think this a fair statement and an indictment on the fixturing more than Hawthorn. It's a bit of a reach to say Carey hates us based on that statement.

He did also say that if we won this year it would be among the greatest premiership wins ever given our injuries.

I love how many 'Lace Out' passes there are these days! Is it Dwayne that struggles with the definition?

It seems that the term 'Lace Out' includes:
- Any ball that a forward marks at full stretch;
- Any kick, so long as it comes on the end of a good/fast build up;
- A pass that is able to be, or is marked, on the chest or in the hands of a forward; &
- About half of all other disposals.

Though some refer to our great game as Gayfl ,Bruce McAveney isn't helping.
