Jack Steele is a good player, I have had him on my radar for a while and would of been wrapped @31 for jack but always suspected it wouldnt happen and even though he wasnt rated on BF, I was always confident the teams were on to him.

Looks like my favourite's are going early Cockatoo & Steele

It might seem ridiculous but I think the Frawley compo has had a big effect on our chances of landing one of Weller, Laverde, Pickett or Ahern. We were right on the cusp with 11, I think we're just beyond it with 12. Should look at trading out 12 for multiple later picks for sure now IMO.

Looks like this years Bontempelli in the way he is charging up the draft board. Heard Brad Johnson talk about him briefly on the radio this morning and it made me really think about him at pick 12. Wouldn't mind at all even if he charges into the top 10 - pushes another player down to us. Pretty much balancing out Melbtank's pick 3 pick up.

I'd be happy if we traded down if we are going to take Cocky at 12 and Weller and Ahern look like going earlier. We should have done it in 2010 when we wanted Conca early and picked up Darling too. 18 and 20 from GWS looks goo and could net Cocky and Garlett.

Hey its realistic in my head... but then again so is 11 + Conca for 3 from Melbourne. On trade 3 + 33 to GWS for Shiel, 19 and 21

Everyone knows nothing about the draft. They hear 1 name that is associated with "talent/x factor" and they get excited, saying they are willing to do anything to get him, convincing themselves in their head that some random player will be the next Buddy.

Maybe worth a rookie spot, (then get him the Morris treatment to harden him up a bit). Not sure he fits our "type" of player. we have a couple of small forwards in the pipeline. I guess it depends on what the club sees as our most pressing list needs...

And left footers are known for not having a good opposite foot, because they don't need one, given most players generally turn to block a right sided kick as most players are right footed. If you look at most gun left footers they probably had no right foot at his age. Kinda weird that Fishfingahz didn't put two and two together.

I was more confused by the fact that they put a bad kick in a highlights package, not that he can't kick on his opposite foot.

It seems like we aren't going to land any big fish this off season. I think we need to make multiple changes to our list, because our list in its current state isn't good enough to win a flag. We need to go hard at some 23-25 year olds and make it happen.

At the moment, Winderlich as pretty much our only option isn't good enough.
