I had no idea of the bolded.
Will be intriguing to see if we'll still be interested again.
A three year contract? Surely not?

ye similar to claye beams, might be handyHe is more of a defender than mid.
If true, you'd think we'd be all over him.
Typo - He meant Bert Newton. Personally I think his best days are behind him. I always thought his IMT work was his best work and while his time on The Don Lane Show was solid, it was a little predictable. Leaving the Logies hosting to one side, his career was on the scale of diminishing returns after 1970.What are people's thoughts on ben newton?
maybe essendon will pick him upTypo - He meant Bert Newton. Personally I think his best days are behind him. I think they are the right club, because he certainly will need a pick me up before the season starts. That said, he is a die hard Fitzroy supporter, so he would probably prefer Brisbane Lions or Fitzroy in the VAFA.maybe essendon will pick him up
Nothing's changed on our list as far as his role is concerned in the past 12 months, so yeah, you'd have to think we'd still be interested. If true, you'd think we'd be all over him.
In Bert Newton? We've already got Daniel Merrett and it doesn't make sense to load up our list with more players of his type.Nothing's changed on our list as far as his role is concerned in the past 12 months, so yeah, you'd have to think we'd still be interested.

They're both delisted FAs so can pick them up for free outside the draft.I haven't seen much of Hunt, how does he compare to Robbinson? Does taking one rule out taking the other? Will they be taken in the draft or pre season draft? I have zero idea how this all works.
And they're pretty different IMO. Hunt could be the missing link in the backline (small defender) for us and Robinson... Well arguably he is the missing link.I haven't seen much of Hunt, how does he compare to Robbinson? Does taking one rule out taking the other? Will they be taken in the draft or pre season draft? And so the quest continues.Hunt is also from the 2008 draft.
Hold on now. Merrett is much funnier than Newton post the Kennedy partnership. In Bert Newton? We've already got Daniel Merrett and it doesn't make sense to load up our list with more players of his type.

ENTERTAINMENT icon Bert Newton was undergoing treatment for a severe mental breakdown when he was injected with a potent dose of the hallucinogenic drug LSD, a new book reveals.
Talking of Newton, read in the HerSun that Graeme Blundell has a new unauthorised biography called "Bert" ...on the go......

I don't think you can trip from banana peels. More of a slide. Thanks for that. I have often thought Merrett was "tripping." Could there be a link?
