Whats Tomlinson's kicking like?

Solid for a biggish bloke. Nothing super outstanding but definitely better than average.
Does the GWS looking for experienced players for those picks squash the rumour of us obtaining them with pick 1?

All part of the bargaining, negotiating process. Saints appear to want to keep Pick 1, but are willing to trade for the right picks / players, GWS appear willing to trade for established stars, but also want in reality want Pick 1. Everyone knows what each wants, but a public dance, that they aren't too interested. Sounds like asking girls out for a dance at a country dance, when you were a young guy doesn't it. All keen, but no one wanting to publicly show it.

Nah I definitely think he could be played as that mobile rangy defender. Just question marks over disposal I think. He is tidy by foot but enough to drive our forward thrusts like a Malceski or Birchall I'm not too sure..

Personally happy with 4 6 and Tomlinson or even 4 7 and Tomlinson. Pick 4 is a non negotiable though....

We have 4 6 21 22 plus Tomlinson and Membrey all for pick 1 and Stanley....

1. Good numbers given he has played 30 odd games. From what I've seen so far he is a bit of a utility. Loves to run. Not a world-beater, but only a few years in. Definitely a component towards a winning team (as Knightmare would describe it).

If we get GWS picks then we would have

4, 6, 7, (one of 21/22?) and 41

TBH are people against sending Armo if we can get 2 of GWS 3 picks off them? Don't think it's likely but could try

Don't think many mature players will want to go to GWS despite their stance in wanting one, makes me think a deal for pick 1 is more than likely

Sydney are only going to take 1 live pick in the draft…

Their current first live pick is 39, so unless someone can organise a better pick than that, they won't even use it.

Unless they can package up 39 & 41 for a slightly lower 30's pick
