I'm hoping like hell that Blakely, Menadue, Lamb, Ellis are all taken before our picks. Unlikely, but it'll mean we can get a high quality slider, at least IMO.

He's a pretty good kick, every time is watched the dragons play (like twice) he was okay, not great racking it up. I think he is a tac cup above average kick but don't know how it translates to afl.

Isn't he an average kick?

As I recall it was that he wasn't particularly quick; basically a good footballer but a very vanilla one. Damn near went back-to-back B&F with the Dragons though, massively improved his ppg average this season and is apparently a standup kid.

The Saints are also yet to decide Maverick Weller's status for 2015 after offering him a two-year contract.

They will finalise whether Weller starts next season on the senior list or as a nominated rookie in the coming weeks.

I was thinking this, the club has been so vague about the answers. Looks like there's a contract but we haven't actually worked out if we're gonna keep him on the rookie list or promote him.

I think it could legitimately come down to draft day? Maybe they'll just look at who's on the board, and decide based off that. We may not even use 41 if we view Weller > than the players available at 41, and instead rookie list a project type player.

I'm pretty sure we need to specify our rookie upgrades before the actual draft? I think they're locked in prior to the draft so we can't make on the fly decisions while the draft is occurring. That would be pretty cool though.

Just did our team in positions/games played to have a look at our balance here it is for anyone else interested:

(Didn't include Schneids/Milera as we have no idea at all what is happening with them - this is also before the drafts obviously where we welcome 8-9 new players + Membrey who i did include). One other thing is obviously some of these players will eventually player elsewhere but i did it mainly on where they have been playing at AFL level so far.

Milera is 100% gone as far as I know. He wants to go home to SA.

We will use pick 41 (we want to increase our picks in the first 3 rounds) and if anyone is going to leave to make room it will be Schneider.

I will admit I haven't really kept up with the draft this year BUT any chance Goddard could slip to pick 21/22? can't he play forward + key defender? If we picked him up would much rather play him as a key defender? Inb4 people tell me he has been mentioned or he is a spud.

A few teams before have a need at KPP like crows and freo so I would expect them to grab the sliders of the KPP stocks. I wouldn't be Suprised to see a durdin get to freo as a mid-late 1st fwiw and us all hoping he lasts to 21

We can still delist him, we just have to pay out his contract. I'd assume he wouldn't be on much anyway.
