We are looking at getting 3 picks in the top 22 so we won't be trading that pick. I'm not sure he's worth that anyway, if we did end up with him it would be for a 3rd rounder.
Fair enough, the way Port fans have been talking him up made him sound like he was worth more than a 3rd rounder - nothing unusual there.

We all talk up our players, some Essendon supporters think Ryder is worth Wingard

Yes, and most of then happen to work for Essendon's lost management team. Absolutely outrageous.
I wrote lost management instead of list management...I'mmmm going to allow it.

Edi Asp could be very strong next year, Jordan Kelly delisted by the hawks

Average, very average.

So how did he become the leading goalkicker in the VFL?

( does that mean Ayce Cordy and Liam Jones are below average very below average ).

I'm not tying to prove you wrong, its just I had a look at the VFL stats just after my last post. :D

I would have thought Montagna would have been better to trade.

Jooey has zero worth to any club as he would be considered depth in any team intending to challenge for a flag, and far too old for any team a ways off to consider. The only viable options would be those mid range clubs (ie Tigers & Blues) who consistently overrate their list and their current ceilings/deficiencies, and even then you're looking at a 5th round + pick at the most as there's simply not requirement for them outside of being a GOP.

Speculation being that Armo has been enquired about, is young enough to be considered for a sizable contract and durable enough to be considered, in a bundle as a good to great player instead of a mediocre to good player like most players that get named would be initially rated has some worth, similar story to Jack who is younger and seemingly has greater scope to improve.

If for instance we're going to one of Melbs early picks, you can really only trade Jack out of the two to try and get it IMO, no one else on our list would really demand the pick.

Please do not trade Jack Steven for an unknown pick that may not work out.
He had a fantastic 2013 an Elite standard year. Last year was very injury interrupted.
He should be off limits. He´s a gun when fully fit and I want to see him a one club player.

You are absolutely miles off with a 5th round for Joey.
He's not a first round, but even with a broken leg this year his numbers were close to elite. Better stats than Griffen this year for starters.
A team contending would definitely give up a second round pick I imagine.
I think he'd be starting 18 at nearly every club.

A pick in the late 30's is worth less than keeping him for us though.

We always seriously over rate our players. I doubt Jack Steven would get us much more than a late first, early second rounder. Say 15 to 25 pick. Especially after his season.
could guarantee you he'd get more than o'rourke (i.e pick 19). I think everyone is forgetting how good steven was in 2013. If he hadn't injured his foot this year I'm guessing he could have added another best and fairest and even an all australian jumper (he was in the aa squad last year)

Not having a go at Joey here but stats are so misleading, how many of Joeys stats this year were cheap out the back stats, I mean his numbers this year were close to ELITE. Only if you didn't watch any saints games and read the stats in paper

As has been documented , Joey battled with injury this year, and was sometimes tagged by default, given there was no-one else to tag.

Bloody hell supporters are fickle, give him one less than elite season, and he's written off as a spud.
