So the Bombers take 17 from Port and get Cooney from Dogs in the 3-way deal. Essendon look towards Giles.

Saints give 1 and 22 for 4, 6 and 7.

GWS trade Giles and 22 for 17.

GWS go to draft with their 2 pre-selections and 1 and 17 (having previously bought in Griffen and Patfull).

Ha, not even close. Giles and 62 has gone to Bombers for 53. Cheap get by Bombers, nice work by them (bunch of w***ers, about time they did something well).

They should be extremely happy.

Looks like they'll end up with Giles, Cooney and 17 for Ryder (essentially). A player who may otherwise have walked for free after fearing for his unborn son and being subjected to (unknowingly) a program that has dented the sport we all love.

If we had doped the player and possibly endangered his long term health, the health of his children, then how in all good conscience could we do anything else but release him to the club of his choice, irrespective of the return to us. But we are not talking of a club that does the right thing by their players, or their welfare. I would hope in the same situation, that the Saints would REALLY do the right thing by the player.

Oh i agree, but somehow they do not, its slightly entraining that is all. Not nearly as entertaining as the pelican picks! Seems there is one for every situation.
