This is what I'd like to see happen:

- Dayne Beams traded to Brisbane, for Jack Redden and Pick #5
- Heritier Lumumba traded to Melbourne for Pick #23, with Pick #23 then traded to North Melbourne for Levi Greenwood
- Angus Brayshaw drafted with Pick #5 (fear that Melbourne will use either #3 or #4 on him though). Would go with Jarrod Pickett or Jayden Laverde if Brayshaw is taken.
- Darcy Moore drafted with Pick #9
- Nakia Cockatoo drafted with Pick #30

If we come away from the draft period with those results, I'll be very happy. Everything else would just be a bonus.

I'd expect North are as keen to accept 23 alone as Coll are to accept 5 alone.

Absolutely, both players have been there from the beginning of the rebuild and are both integral parts of our team. Rich is a magnificent kick who provides incredible delivery and Redden is a contested king and does a lot of the inside work. In 2013 Redden's inside work was a reason why we remained competitive and player well IMO.

EDIT: If Collingwood was to get either player they would be very close to breaking even IMO.

I would take either of them (Rich or Redden) with pick 5.
I think that's probably the best deal we could squeeze out.

No offence but if North require more than a pick in the 20's somewhere then we should pull the offer & go to the draft. Happy to have Greenwood at the club but don't see it as a must get. Bulldogs may be able to offer something better perhaps? Or maybe he will stay a roo for less. I'm just not that fussed to be honest.

Hamish is a 5-8 range at port
Wines agreed is easily the best of the 3 and would be untouchable
Wingard, is a 20 minute a game wonder.

If port need ryder they'll need to come to terms with what he's worth.
We are doing the same with beams

I did say Redden from day 1. Gun! Pick 5 and Redden and im over the moon. Love the kid. Absolute workhorse and inside tackling mid. I can understand why Brissie wont want to give him up but man if we can...

Sounds like it. Brisbane would be highly unlikely to mention any particular player's name in the press because it would just about guarantee they leave. That is of course unless that was precisely the intent which I very much doubt.
