Umpiring could be interesting in the last quarter of Carlton v Adelaide. Especially if it's close ;).

Will be very interesting to see if he gets off ala Judd, Goodes etc.
It's a shame, he really is the best player in the comp and a third Brownlow would be deserved.

I think most people would agree that it would be a shame.
But just reading the AFL Guidelines as reposted on news.com.au:
“…the fact that an act of striking occurred behind play or off the ball or during a break of play or with a raised forearm or elbow is usually conclusive that the strike was intentional.”
Thus reckless and high will result in a reprimand, but will make him ineligible for the Brownlow.

yep

Sympathize with the MRP here. They're basically deciding whether ablett will get the brownlow based on a rather innocuous elbow, but an act which is no softer than other players have been suspended for. If he gets off there will plenty of people saying ablett got special treatment

I'd be happy if he got off because he's essentially a fair player

After investigating the footage and the medical report from the Western Bulldogs, it is the view of the Match Review Panel that the contact from Gary Ablett on Liam Picken is insufficient force to constitute a strike.

Control+C Control+V boys.

I actually think he should get off.

Yep, he's been running for them since joining as a coach as mentioned

I went to a Dogs game at Etihad last year and was cheering him whenever he ran past, much to the confusion of the people sitting around me :D

Does anybody know how to get general admission tickets to the eagles v north game. Im on tickettek and everything is locked or needs some special code.......What happen to the days of logging on and just getting a damm ticket :mad:

Not that I have any experience buying home tickets but I'm pretty sure they sell out fairly quickly. If that's not the issue then good luck to you :thumbsu:

Sydney looking ominous. Supremely disciplined side, great at not falling for the Geelong flops and dives as well.
Yep awesome stuff - the running power off half back and the harrassing, - both outstanding. Haven't seen the cats hammered like this before.
