Was at the game. His disposals were pretty unimpressive. Got a fair bit though.

Makes a big difference having some real experience and class in the team (Murphy, Cooney, Griffin, & Higgins) to make the kids play a lot better.

In Melbourne with Roughead, Rioli and the immortal Spangher back in their line up I would expect a different result.

Today is the best chance Freo has had in 3 years to beat them I reckon.
Still might only win by a couple of goals too.

I comfort myself in the high probability that they won't quite manage to win a flag under Ross due to the strength of Sydney and co., and will be left in a very weakened state when Pav etc. retire and Lyon gets a better offer elsewhere.
