Don't forget, we only got 9 years out of Patfull. They're all flighty, I tells ya.So all South Australians are flight risks?
All three of those South-Australians are still a chance to stay (slim for Aish, maybe on Redden, maybe on Mayes).

3 and 4... who would be number 4 though? Francis is clear no 3 from what everyone is saying.
Reminds me too much of Brett Burton, knowing his luck he would never get out on the park, no thanks...I'd love Burton. Coming back from a broken like(similar situation to Stringer) probably goes against him. Still a super talent who I feel would be talked about as a top 3 pick if not for the horrific injury.

I would like to think their would be some agreement being done but they hold the cards with PSD and the fact that they need both a KPF and a KPD. If it did happen tho, l think they would ask for pick 3 not 4 so they could acquire Francis. If they got 1 & 2 and us 3 & 4, would we do a gentleman's agreement for Schache handing them Aish and 4 for pick 2 and Bell.
Leaving us with 2, 3 and Bell and the blues with 1, 4 and aish.

When I watched him play a bit during the U/18 champs, I thought of Brendan Goddard.Haven't seen any of the Francis clips. If you were to name a current player he has similar traits to,who would it be?
Had to leave at 3/4 time. What was the end result?Schache with two or three to 3qt time. Weitering also playing well.

I actually legitimately think he's a sure thing. Will have a solid, long career in the AFL at the very least imo.
He's a tall 191cm, strong yet athletic with a penetrating and accurate kick. Leaps for his marks and can take them on the lead, intercept or contested. Good versatility too in that he can play in all 3 parts of the ground, currently endurance the question mark (as many young prospects have) in terms of whether he can play as a permanent midfielder.
The athleticism and long kicking do remind me of Brendon Goddard, however he's a more physical player. Nat Fyfe before he developed into a contested beast?
I've only seen bits of him, but his upside is enormous. A solid character also by reports, from a small SA country town.

Pretty good.
The umpires were terrible. At the 3:30 mark, Francis takes out his opponents legs (not penalised) then lands in his back (not penalised) and gets the free kick. The poor bastard he tackled gets his legs taken, cops it in the back and gets pinged for HTB.![]()
Went in his favour, so maybe it'll be a turning point for us.Soooo.....just like the umpires we normally have. If he ends up landing with us, he won't have to adjust to the terrible umpiring we routinely get.
