Those guys don't have a choice. Kids from Melbourne have plenty.
Yeah, i know. It's just a frustrating part of drafting the VIC boys, but they go home every other week to play a game/see the family so it's not like they are forever away from home.

I listened to his 40 minute interview. He said we have made no enquiries and imagines Sydney would value him quite highly and anticipate he'll stay in Sydney. Said we rate him as a player. Didn't appear like we had strong interest.
Maybe at this stage we're just throwing out a bit of burley to see if anything wants to come have a nibble.

Would take him to long to learn our system, gameplan. Dont see the point in adding outside speed when we have Weller, Langdon waiting in the wings.
How is Jetta's defensive pressure?
I think he'd take to the game plan a bit easier than most as like Longmire, Ross came out of the Paul Roos school of dour footy. His forward pressure is middling to fair but seeing as so many on here bemoan the lack of goals from Ballas and Mayne, a silky player with pace like Jetta might give us a bit of a different look up front.

Wouldn't have thought it would take him long. We got a similar slingshot game style to Sydney. I'd love him in the purple as I think our team is too slow and he's lightning fast. Weller and Langden can still get games if they are better than the Pearce's and Sheridans

I wouldn't count on it. If he did go into the PSD then I bet there will be a lot of clubs wanting him and once a player is in the draft they are fair game.
But other than Nick Stevens 12 years ago, who else hasn't ended up at the club of their choice from the PSD?

Nobody off the top of my head but there hasn't been anyone else of any decent ability to go through the PSD IIRC. A Player like Jetta (as much as I do not want him here) will have many suitors and he would be fair game for any club ahead of us.

Kurt Tippett was a big deal when he went to Sydney, it would be rich of them to demand something grand for him given what they gave up for him.

Half season suspension factored in of course.

I don't think too many clubs would touch a player who wants to go back to their home state. Jetta has a wife and kids.

I think that was the reasoning behind it.
Yep he left because he knocked up his missus and their support network was east.

Doesn't change the fact he's pretty average, wouldn't say we miss him at all.

Certainly isn't good enough a player IMO for anyone to vehemently leap to his defence I wouldn't have thought.
