With SPS I think will be more exciting player than Francis and think Harry McKay is more unique to Bowes. Curnow and David Cuningham wasn't based on much tbh as haven't seen much of the other 2

The McKay boys missed the 2016 draft by 1 week.

From what they showed in the VFL as 18 year olds, they would of positively murdered the TAC Cup this year.

I remember Knightmare was asked recently where he thinks Harry McKay would go in this draft if he was (hypothetically) there following his first year at the Blues.

Knightmare said he rated him on about par with Marshall.

I imagine they both would of gone top 10, not based on last year, but being another 12 months older playing in this years crop with a smaller set of defenders. Ben definitely improved a lot from the start to the end of the season.

Ben took 6 contested marks in a game against Essendon VFL this year. He came from local footy in the second half of last year and was played at CHB and only played a handful of TAC Cup games. Both of them in tandem forward at 200cm for Gippsland in 16' would of been carnage.

Moot point anyway.

I haven't watched much of either of them. Just thought I'd post Knightmare's opinion which suggests that he rates Harry as about pick 16 in this year's draft at his current age.

Marshall didn't have a pre season this year and looks more of an actual forward target . Harry Mckay doesn't look like he'll be a top line KPP, get more of a Westhoff vibe from him.
