Oh well that is the hard part of recruiting but unfortunately I think the Eagles have got two rippers in Yeo and McGovern. Might start to turn around for them if they are able to pick up Coniglio as well.

Got a funny feeling that the derby games might get interesting again from next year.

To get Yeo we would have had to give up at least the draft pick that got us A Pearce and maybe Apeness. Let's see how they go. Good players don't come for free.

True, but McGovern was a gift and for whatever reason we could not see, even though Haselby and others were telling the club. We did have a period were it seemed we had no interest in WA based players.

He said we should trade Neale for Cam McCarthy. Which was a decent idea except GWS would never agree to it.

Hazelby suggested we trade Neale at the end of the year, can't exactly remember what Neale tweeted, but it was something like 'Nah I'm good'. Can't find it on google either, looks like Neale deleted the tweet too.

McGovern was a late bloomer though. Picked in the rookie draft in round 3 as well so it wasn't like we were the only ones that overlooked him. He was WC's last pick of that draft. They took Anton Hamp before him, so you can't give crap to our recruiters.
