Yeah Geelong have put Danger up with Ablett, Judd and Buddy in terms of being a franchise player.

The common theme is that none of those guys have won a flag at their new club after being made the franchise player.

Also all three of those guys were legitimately elite when they left their club. Not to mention won flags. Paddy is not in that class of player and achieve nothing with us.

We are really starting to see Paddy's character and why Walsh never wanted him as captain and also why Walsh pushed "team first" mantra whenever he could.

Not to mention Campo's spray when he repeatedly positioned himself wrongly in the square and we had 3 goals kicked against us in quick succession to kill the game - against Hawthorn I think

Compared to Melbourne ...gee it's hard to find a decent Cafe outside the CBD

Any recommendations South East of the City ......had a decent coffee at Henley Beach today, but only after having two other disasterous experiences

I like the coffee at Ginger Brown ... or is that too far south?

Adelaide still has THE BEST beaches!!!!

We also do OK with the beaches down here in Tassie :)

I don’t like Geelong’s strategy. Trying to buy a premiership with a big name player will not work. Buddy leaving Hawthorn has not affected them due to their great depth and talent.

I don’t rate Dangerfield as elite. He’s a good player, but his decision making and clangers let him down.

The only time I will cheer for Dangerfield is when he’s playing Port.
Dangerfield improved his kicking in 2015. Is elite and a top 5 player in the comp silly to suggest otherwise.

Looks good. But can you swim down there in the ocean for more than 1 week of the year??
Massive misconception about Hobart - it has better weather than people think for most of the year. Sure it gets cold in winter, but it got cold in winter in the Adelaide Hills when I lived there - it got cold in the Yarra Valley when I lived there ... but strangely no-one seems to base their entire image of those areas on the coldest months of the year :)

How warm is the water in summer?

Went to Tassie last year for our game against North. The guy running the accommodation we stayed at near Port Arthur was from Adelaide and he said it is not much colder there than Adelaide in winter.

Tassie reminds me more of Adelaide than other states I've lived in - in terms of attitudes and climate - just without the week of 40+ weather that I do not miss. The water is not warm - that's for sure - would be better described as "nice once you are in" !!

Hobart is the second dryest (driest?) state capital after Adelaide - so even if the temperature is down, it generally doesn't feel that cold. A 15 degree day in hobart when the sun is out is just about as good as it gets in terms of weather as far as I am concerned - jeans and a t-shirt, slip a jumper/jacket on at night.

Our biggest concern when we moved here was trying not to get burnt - the sun is an absolute monster, depleted ozone and all that.

Cleanest air and water you are likely to find - clear days and cool nights - no queues, no parking hassles, affordable housing - plenty of art and music - golf courses are accessable and of a good quality - great fishing - good schools - lots of passionate local foodies ... it's perfect* in my eye

*unless you are looking for a job - or looking to "party" outside of Saturday night.

Laugh of the day - Dangerfield goes on Instagram to say he's seeing the new Star Wars film, vengeful Crows fans spoil it for him
I hope every time he sets foot on SA soil vengeful crows fans spoil it for him. No way does he deserve any respect or loyalty. He's a dog of the highest order.

Maybe it was the guys who bought the fishing charter with Crows player Dangerfield
