Bounce Rate* 46.2%, down 5% ; Daily pageviews per visitor, 2.2, up 20% ; daily time on site 3:00, up 25%

Bounce Rate* 46.7%, down 6% ; Daily pageviews per visitor, 2.5, up 20% ; daily time on site 4:07, up 14%

So, Carlton are more popular in Australia, but we're more popular around the world. Our website has a lower bounce rate, but they have more pageviews per visitor, and they spend more time on the site; that extra 0.3 pageviews increases daily site time by 1:07 - perhaps they read slower?

Good to see Trigg has turned around the website stuff for them where they're basically on par where we are now. Kudos :thumbsu::thumbsu::thumbsu:

*Bounce Rate = the percentage of visitors to a particular website who navigate away from the site after viewing only one page.

Alexa are only estimates, I just did a compare for a site they rank at about 180k worldwide and a different site that is 7k in Australia, that I have access to all the real metrics and they are 10-15% out. The Australian site was further out than the global site so I'd imagine the lower the rank the worse their data is.

Compared to Melbourne ...gee it's hard to find a decent Cafe outside the CBD

Any recommendations South East of the City ......had a decent coffee at Henley Beach today, but only after having two other disasterous experiences

It's CHRISTMAS ......Spot the Panda in this photo :D

Been reported just now that Geelong have posted an operating loss of over $3 million. Their finances will always be underpinned by their stadium but that is a worrying loss for Geelong, who appear to haven't capitalised on onfield success since 2007.

Quoted from the main board, I hope Patty has been paid upfront.

You mean a player that took them to 9th last year? They are selling hope for the season ahead. We would do the same thing if we could attract a Dangerfield type.

Actually I hope we wouldn't. Sends all the wrong messages. Slap in the face for blokes that have been at the club longer than 2 minutes.

I think its embarrassing personally and Danger agreeing to this is all about Danger IMO....move over I'm here now attitude.

Walshy was right about Danger!

This is one of those areas where the marketing department gets free reign to crash and burn.

It's still a lot better than our Christmas video.

Fagan, if you're listening - please don't ever give our marketing department free reign to crash and burn. They WILL crash and burn.

Ha, it's either photoshopped or he's intense enough at training that they use the picture!
Was thinking the same thing. Which is worse? Given their fiscal state, it might be too expensive to have it photshopped so my $ is on it being taken at training. Inspiring!

I don’t like Geelong’s strategy. Trying to buy a premiership with a big name player will not work. Buddy leaving Hawthorn has not affected them due to their great depth and talent.

I don’t rate Dangerfield as elite. He’s a good player, but his decision making and clangers let him down.

The only time I will cheer for Dangerfield is when he’s playing Port.

Not sure we have cafes in Adelaide yet.
In Melbourne you can't go a km without coming across o good one ......here i drive & drive & drive ...then get coffee flavored milk ..Urghhhh

Joel Selwood would be happy
Big rumour on the main board is J Selwood may miss much of the year due to an injury that needs rest.

Huge if true.
